Steven Adler, my heart goes out to him, is a freaking reck. Without getting into to many details-Adler is in direct connection with people around me who for the last couple of years have attempted to help him manage what's left of his career and break his drug addiction. Adler is a really down to earth guy when he is sober, which is rare. He was supposed to have his own reality show but somehow that fell through, the trailer was fuckin nuts, only as it would be when your dealing with Adler. Celebrity Rehab knew he was the ideal candidate for the show and offered him a deal he couldn't resist plus at that point in his life he needed the help. Celebrity Rehab showed the sober side of Adler-a side that didn't seem to last to long.
Now he is on Sober House, a sober living house dedicated to those committed to getting clean, that airs on VH1. Without the strict supervision that he had on Celebrity Rehad, on Sober House, Adler is givng the producers of the show more footage than they know what to do with. In the first couple of episodes he is high as a fuckin kite. His drug addict is his worst enemy, he is pushing those that love him further away and allowing negative influences into his life. Adler gets arrested on the show when the house mom calls the police after discovering Adler is drugged out! I remember sitting in the same room once listening to Adler express his hurt inside describing the betrayal he felt when he got kicked out of Guns N' Roses for his drug problem. He still feels sorry for himself. It's time to let the past go-that shit happened in the 80's-I just hope he gets his life together!
